I had tremdous fun doing this flower. I did it in crayon, then crinkled up the paper, then painted over the whole thing in acrylic and rinsed it in water. This gives kind of a neat effect, sort of crinkly and distressed. ( I see it as a great way to add interest to the picture and disguise the fact that I may not draw the best!:)
